Want to share your ideas with the student council?
If you are a student of Stonegate and would like for the Student Council to hear your wonderful ideas, please talk to your class representatives. It is their job to make sure the voices of your classroom are heard at the meetings. They will take note of your ideas and suggest them at the next meeting.
What is the Student Council?
1) Each class will elect 2 representatives to attend the meetings for the year. Only 1 representative from each class needs to attend the meeting each week. Representatives need to arrange with each other who will attend which meetings.
2) The student council plans spirit days, fundraisers, and fun activities for the students of Stonegate.
3) Student council representatives take notes on the upcoming events discussed in the meetings, and report back to their classrooms. They are also responsible for running, set up, and clean up of lunchtime activities.
4) Student council meetings are run by our elected Student Council Officers.
5) The Student Council is a great way to get involved in your school!
